How ecoclogical and sustainable is the food in Finland

My in-depth topic is about whether the Finns pay just as sustainable and organic attention to their food as we do or rather not Eating organic food has become an important topic in recent years, as the impact of our eating habits on the enviroment is becoming increasingly clear Finland and Germany are two europeen countries who have different approaches about the sustainable and ecological nutrition. The first thing I did was to deal with whether there are also pure organic markets in Finland like in Germany, and I realised that there are, except for a few branches in Helsinki no other really organic food markets. The name of these branches are Ruchonjuuri. But in Germany we have many of pure organic markets the two best known markest are. Dennis and Alnatura, But there are a lot more markets like this. In Germany you can also buy organic food in every normal supermarket and it’s the same in Finland. Finland is known for offering many large fields for agriculture, where sustainability and environmental protection are in the foreground. Many Finnish farmers rely on organic farming and use natural fertilisers. Germany also has significant agriculture, but the proportion of organic agriculture is lower compared to Finland. Both Finland and Germany have taken steps to promate ecological and sustainable nutrition, Finland is characterised by ist strong agriculture practices and consumer awareness. If Germany were still in the process of catching up Nevertheless, it can be seen that there is a growing trend towards ecological and sustainable nutrition in both countries. I hope that this will be even more in our future in both countries.
