The difference between the shops in Germany and Finland

I would like to talk a little bit about the difference between the shops in Germany and Finland. There are lots of differences: one big difference is the price. It doesn’t matter in which shop you are, clothes are always very expensive. But when you go to “Normal” which is comparable to “dm” in Germany and also to the supermarket, you find so much cheaper stuff. I actually spent most of our free time in the city and I looked around and I noticed that here in Finland there are not so many similar-looking shops. Often when you are in another country, you see H&M and the Mango or something like that but here in Finland I saw only Vero Moda (a clothes shop) which we also have in Germany. But I also have to say that I only saw the city Tampere and I can only talk about it. It is possible that the shops in Helsinki are more the same. In Tampere there are also many vintage and second hand shops which is very cool, I think. But there are also so many shops which you sell basic clothes. Street style clothes or jumpers with big prints or crazy tops in different colours clothes that are not vintage can’t be found in Tampere. Most clothes are beige, black, grey, white or sometimes blue or green but always simple. As an example I really like oversized clothes and things with print, but this is not the style that you can find easily in Tampere. The shop “Normal” is in many respects very similar to the German brand “dm”. They have partially the same brands and you find actually the same stuff. But one difference is that the Finnish shop is not as big as “dm” and things like food and drinks aren’t sold there..With regard to fast food restaurants Germany and Finland are quite similar. There is McDonalds and Burger King. I am not sure if a saw KFC but the most popular ones are also in Tampere. But the price is the same I think. I am not sure but it is perhaps even a little bit cheaper.Coffee shops are also pretty much the same. There are, for example, cafés but there are also many little coffee shops like in Karlsruhe the beerySu which is only once in a city.
